The Brazilian Amanda Nunes' has been a force to be reckoned with even before she stepped into the UFC octagon. Her explosive style has earned her numerous victories over tough competition both in the UFC and around the MMA world. She's had many memorable fights, and today we'll break down five of our favorite Amanda Nunes bouts.

vs Germaine de Randamie I: UFC Fight for the Troops

An early test for Nunes came in November of 2013 against the renowned kickboxer from the Netherlands, Germaine de Randamie. Coming into the fight, Randamie had gained a reputation for being one of the very best strikers while on her feet and she had a world class record to prove it.

Randamie was unprepared for Amanda Nunes' ground game, however, as the Brazilian had little problem countering the striking style of the kickboxer and taking Randamie to the ground. Once Randamie was taken off of her feet, Nunes was able to finish her off for the victory in just under four minutes. This is the match that had the other competitors in the women's division take note that the Brazilian Nunes was going to be stiff competition going forward.

vs Ronda Rousey: UFC 207

Throughout her UFC career, "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey was a favorite in nearly every fight she took on. Amanda Nunes was focused and intent on proving she was good enough to go toe to toe with the best the UFC had to offer.

The two met at UFC 207, and Nunes proved that she belonged at the top of the 135 pound weight class as she went right after Rousey as soon as the fight started. Nunes was aggressive from the start, and Rousey was never able to counter. Even though this fight happened after Rousey had lost the title to Holly Holm, Nunes proved that she was championship material in under a minute.

vs Miesha Tate: UFC 200

At UFC 200, Miesha Tate was set to defend the bantamweight title against Amanda Nunes. Being the challenger, many experts and fans expected Nunes to begin tentatively, but that was not the case.

As soon as the official signaled the start of the fight, Nunes went right after Tate landing strike after strike. This aggressive style wore the champion down, and the Brazilian was able to force Tate to submit giving Amanda Nunes the UFC Bantamweight Title.

vs Holly Holm: UFC 239

After moving up to the 145 pound weight class division to take on Cris Cyborg, which we'll cover next, Amanda Nunes returned to the 135 pound weight class to fight Holly Holm to defend the UFC Bantamweight Title. As UFC fans are aware, Holm had a huge reputation as one of the best female fighters in the UFC and this was shaping up to be an epic bout.

Once the fight started, Nunes proved while she was the champion it didn't matter who her opponent was, she would do what it took to gain the upper hand from the start. It didn't even take a minute for Nunes to KO Holly Holm and retain her title belt.

vs Cris Cyborg: UFC 232

Amanda Nunes' best fight and defining career moment may have come at UFC 232 when she took on the 145 pound class champion, Cris Cyborg.

Nunes entered this fight already holding the 135 pound championship, and she was attempting to become the first women to hold belts in two different divisions. Cyborg hadn't lost a match in 13 years, and some suggested that Nunes was in for more than she bargained for by jumping up a weight class for a title shot. In a shocking minute, Nunes knocked out the UFC Featherweight Champion to become the only woman in the UFC to ever win a championship in two weight classes. If you take into consideration she held both belts at the same time, it makes us wonder if Nunes should be considered the best female fighter to ever step into the octagon.
